Founded in 2023, Devon Square Heart Clinic was set up to give more patients access to fully private, consultant-led cardiology in Devon. We believe private heart care should be readily available and affordable, offering rapid access to appointments for the assessment and diagnosis of any heart concern, without a long wait.
The clinic is led by Dr Usman Ejaz Sheikh (MBBS, FRCP London), a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with a specialist interest in Cardiac MRI, and currently the clinical lead for Cardiology at Torbay and South Devon NHS Trust. He brings a broad range of expertise across cardiac conditions to patients across Newton Abbot and South Devon.

A new patient face-to-face consultation is £300. A 30-minute telephone or video consultation is £150. We’ll always provide a quote before your visit, and an estimate for any procedures that may be needed.

Yes. We recognise most UK health insurers and our consultant is a registered provider for most of them. Once we receive a valid authorisation, we handle the financial side directly with your insurer. Please confirm cover with your insurer before your appointment.
